We Value Every Life
If you own or have ever owned a dog, you can’t help but have a predisposition toward 777 Charlie. In his most recent movie, Kannada star Rakshit Shetty plays a solitary guy who finds forgiveness in Charlie, a four-legged princess.
If you’ve ever owned a dog, you know that calling it a pet is an understatement for your bond with the animal. Your family is there. And as you watch some of the daring actions that Charlie pulls out without thinking twice about the repercussions, 777 Charlie provokes the appropriate feelings because Charlie is aware that Dharma (Rakshit Shetty) is working to clean up the trash behind it.
When you leave debutant Kiranraj’s film 777 Charlie, you feel you’ve witnessed an unexpected love story involving a guy (Dharma) and his pet dog (Charlie, a Labrador). The tie that Dharma and Charlie have is stronger and more unconditional than any human relationship, which makes the relationship seem improbable.
The movie’s plot is based on the premise that, with any luck, a dog will enter your life, win your heart, and transform everything. Dharma, a recluse who has essentially given up on life and himself, is portrayed by Rakshit Shetty. He leads an aimless life and drowns in his anguish and loneliness while seeking solace in alcohol. Charlie, a female Labrador puppy, comes along, and the two develop an unforeseen friendship that leads to a voyage that changes their lives. Dharma realizes the true meaning of his life after going through a transition from detesting the sight of Charlie to using all of his savings to take her on vacation.
This movie is primarily about a man and an animal connection, but it’s also a travelogue and a song. Both Dharma and Charlie are on a journey of self-discovery in this tale. The movie takes its time to make us care about the main characters, paying a magnificent tribute to Charlie Chaplin. It takes a lot of effort to make Charlie likable, and we witness her development from an unruly dog brat to a kind, patient friend. How does Charlie steal the show? The moment the camera focuses on Charlie’s empathetic eyes, it’s nearly impossible to hold back the tears and not melt.
All praise goes to her trainer and Rakshit for believing in this project and supporting it as a producer. Her eyes emote more powerfully than any other performer could have done in her stead. The kind of relationship Dharma and Charlie have is uncommon, even in fiction. The sequences between them are what elevate 777 Charlie to a must-see event.
The box office performance of Rakshit Shetty’s most recent film, 777 Charlie, has been phenomenal. Based on the audience’s overwhelming support, the production team has committed 5% of the movie’s earnings to organizations that support dog welfare. A dog and its owner form a bond in this Kannada comedy-drama.
A note announcing the news was posted on social media by Rakshit Shetty.
The movie includes a good adoption subplot with a strong message brought over. Another intriguing subplot concerns how everyone needs a life partner, and that companion does not necessarily have to be a person. Dharma discovers a reason for living through Charlie, and he also learns the value of friendship. Rakshit Shetty carries most of the movie on his shoulders, and he does an excellent job of portraying a figure that lacks all the characteristics of a typical hero.
